“It’s been fantastic and people here are friendly. We are here until Sunday. I have seen two games of Hockey already. We have seen a few of the other games too. P.E.I. is such a beautiful place and Charlottetown is a fantastic city. We are heading out to go on a tour and see some spots on the island.”- Lisa Holan.

“It’s amazing and it’s really great. I love the summers here but getting used to the winters.

It is good for the island to see people from all other provinces. We bought tickets online and I know nothing about Judo, but everybody competes with kids from all the provinces.

The volunteers and everybody on the island are friendly.”- Glynis Sobal

“My favourite part is to see kids getting to watch it. They feel really inspired by older athletes and get excited to see new sports everyday. Ringette was loud and energetic and we plan to watch other games too. I wasn’t sure what to expect before but it’s family friendly and all the athletes are encouraging each other and volunteers are helpful too.”- Stephanie Arnold

“It's a big opportunity for Prince Edward Island to present themselves and also to get to know everything about sports. I really see it’s a big event for everybody. My little one likes Karate, we missed that but we took him to Judo. So far my experience has been good and I'm looking forward to watching more games.”- Kareena Akramov

“My understanding is that a lot of people think about P.E.I. just for summer trip. The island has a lot to offer over the winter. Having games here is a great way to get people to come here and explore during winter as well. My experience so far has been pretty interesting. I have always been a spectator but it's my first time volunteering. It’s been eye opening to see everything that is happening in the background and all the hard work done by athletes.”- Arisha
