summer job. Gomathi Sridevi Radhakrishnan photo.
“Recently, I’ve been recycling all cans and bottles in my house and taking them
to the bottle drive instead of throwing it away. And I try to walk as much as possible
instead of driving. I like to ride bike as well to places which is not only a great way to
reduce the impact pollution in the air but it’s also a great workout as well”- Kaitlyn
MacNeill.

evening despite the bad weather. Gomathi Sridevi Radhakrishnan photo.
“We try not to print too much of work and use everything online, so we don’t use
lot of paper products. Also, we like to recycle things like cans and bottles, and we don’t
like to litter. We also try to avoid using plastic straws and forks. We don’t use public
transportations much, but we carpool to work every day and we run.” - Michelle Nabuurs

shopping. Gomathi Sridevi Radhakrishnan photo.
“I take public transportation as much as I can. I guess people don’t educate
themselves best enough on what we could do to make it less worsen. I also sort my
trash as best as I can with the three bins. I like the idea of planting some trees. So, I like
to do my own gardening in my backyard. I mostly use recyclable bags for groceries and
other stuffs instead of plastic bags.”- Jenna Doucettrns.

part-time shift. Gomathi Sridevi Radhakrishnan photo.
“I don’t do much, but I always like to keep the cardboard boxes or other products
that have shapes instead of throwing them in the trash. I try to recycle those things to
containers for my stuff by cutting it apart and put it together to make it as a cupboard.
So, I don’t have to buy a new container. I always use public transportation and if I can’t
use that I ride my bike. So, I don’t drive that much. For bottles, I reuse them by cleaning
it and do some bottle arts to grow plants inside.”- Isabella Phan.

“I am always cautious whenever I put garbage waste and try to put it in the right
bin by sorting out the Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. I try to use my bottle and dishes
which are not plastic. And I have seen my friends throwing away their clothes instead of
donating it which is extremely bad for climate change. But I always donate those clothes
to Value Village or other thrift stores and encourage them to do the same.”- Que Anh
Mai.
